Foresight Software Solutions have signed a distribution agreement with LicenseWatch A/S, a Danish company and developer of a Software Asset Management tool. LicenseWatch addresses most pain areas of customers, is easy to use, and is aggressively priced. Foresight will sell, market and support the LicenseWatch products through its network of resellers across the country. The ability of LicenseWatch to work with prevailing tools suchas SCCM is a big Plus in the Indian market.
KOTAK SECURITIES implements Pcounter for complete visibility on the printing habits of its users. DABUR, CAIRN ENERGY, JOHN DEREE, were some of the other companies that implemented Pcounter in the last quarter. Pcounter is print management software that allows companies to monitor who is printing what and how much, set quota per users, and charge back to respective departments and projects for better costing.
Some of the other large companies that have deployed Pcounter include- GMR Group, Sapient, ING LIFE, BAJAJ ALLIANZ, HERO HONDA MOTORS, MARUTI SUZUKI, etc.
Samsung Heavy Industries India PVT Ltd rolls out LanLicenser for effective software metering and license control. LanLicenser provides accurate software inventory, besides allowing companies to meter the actual usage of the applications on the desktops. Metering makes it possible for managements to uninstall applications not in use, and there by become compliant with out necessarily having to buy additional licenses. Other features include Application control, active metering, Trending, etc.
IGATE saves over 50% on its printer usage by deploying Pcounter. In a white paper published by IGATE on its web site, IGATE has confirmed that by deploying Pcounter- the company has reduced its pay out on print consumables by over 50%, while helping its Go Green initiative as well.
